Luis Coronel first captured hearts with his smooth voice, heartfelt lyrics, and undeniable charm, becoming one of the most recognizable young artists in Regional Mexican music. Born in Tucson, Arizona, to parents from Sonora and Durango, Mexico, his passion for music began at a young age, singing in church and at family gatherings. His journey took an unexpected turn in his teens when a casual Facebook upload of Mi Niña Traviesa went viral, launching a career that would soon see him topping the Billboard Latin charts and winning multiple industry awards.
Luis quickly became a fan favorite, earning accolades such as Premio Lo Nuestro’s “Male Artist of the Year,” Billboard Latin Music Awards’ “Best New Artist,” and a Premios Juventud win as “Mi Artista Regional Mexicano.” He made history as the youngest soloist in over a decade to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart with Quiero Ser Tu Dueño, a feat that cemented his place in the industry.
