La Sanse Chicago with Charlie Aponte

Join us Sunday, January 19th for “La Sanse Chicago” Daytime Event. This show will feature a full day of live music, dancing, food and vendors from all over the city selling their handcrafted work.  The stage will feature Jibaro Music with Trulla de Campo, The Award Winning “Bompleneras“, The Caribe Project Orchestra doing a Tribute to Chicago Soneros and Direct from PUERTO RICO, the Legendary Charlie Aponte, formely with El Gran Combo, Aponte contributed to numerous hits that became salsa classics, such as “No hay cama pa’ tanta gente,” “El aguacero,” “Brujería,” “Arroz con Habichuelas,” “Falsaria,” “Se nos Perdió el Amor,” “Un Verano en Nueva York,” “Companera Mia,” “Trampolin,” among others. His distinctive voice and style contributed to the worldwide recognition of the band.
